A woman was arrested after setting fire to her own home while burning her husband’s clothes in her backyard.
The 42-year-old woman of Pontiac, Michigan, set her husband’s clothes on fire after an argument.
Neighbors who witnessed the angry woman setting the fire, called for help.
The woman did not stop when deputies arrived. Police said that the woman
added fuel to the fire while officers were at her home, and they
witnessed the act.
By the time firefighters arrived to the home in the 500 block of N.
Saginaw Street, the flames from the burning clothes spread to the
woman’s home.
The scorned woman was arrested and is being held at the Oakland County Jail. She faces a charge of arson.
