Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream teamed up with chef Daniel Boulud of New York, to produce the new hot dog ice cream.
Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream announced that consumers will be seeing
Stars and Stripes when they savor the hot hog flavored ice cream on
freshly baked buns, which are topped with cabbage slaw, raspberry
ketchup and Dijon honey mustard.
The cost of a single ice cream hot dog stands at $7.50. The price is
high for a hot dog, but Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream claims that it is
very well worth it.
Boulud said that over the years, he has seen bacon ice cream, foie gras
ice cream and all the ice cream in the world, but he has never seen a
hot dog ice cream.
That is why he decided to make the DBGB Cool Dog. The hot dog is sweet,
salty, smoked and infused with the flavor of homemade DBGB sausages.
