A memorial that was set up to remember a young boy who lost his life, is now being visited by Pokemon players.

His mother Jenny Latimer of Ontario, Canada, is not happy about it.

Latimer was devastated when her two-year-old son Kevin James Latimer, died after falling out a third floor window in 2004.

Her family and friends helped pay for a memorial outside the church where he was christened, in Burlington.

One day, her family member Allen Harrington, came to the neighborhood
and looked for a Pokestop, which is a place where players can refill on
in-game items, and he saw Kevin’s memorial plaque on the screen.

He told Jenny about it and she was very unhappy. The mother thinks that
her son is being disrespected. “It’s a place people can go and remember
him in a positive way and in a peaceful way, and this game is making it
very disrespectful,” she said.

However, Harrington sees things differently. He believes that it is nice to have the boy’s memory incorporated in the game.
