City garbage truck runs over young man getting a tan while sunbathing in London park

A man who wanted to get a nice tan, was run over by a city garbage truck
that was collecting the trash in a park, according to police in the
United Kingdom.

London police said that the 30-year-old man was rushed by helicopter to a
hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded at the London Fields park in Hackney, around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The man, who was not identified, was lying on the ground and sunbathing
in the barbecue area when he was run over by the garbage truck.

The garbage truck is owned by the Hackney Council’s park service. Police
said that no charges have been filed as no foul play is suspected.
