A teenage mother was arrested on a charge of battery after allegedly
using her baby’s body to beat her boyfriend, according to police in
Florida.
Daytona Beach police said that they have arrested 18-year-old Tatyana
Allen, after being accused of using the body of her 6-month-old son to
beat her boyfriend before slamming the child to the ground.
Allen was charged with battery, and inflicting physical and mental abuse
on a child. She was booked into jail, and her bail was set at $30,000.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Monday,
in front of at least 20 people. One of the witnesses called 911 as the
woman was beating her boyfriend.
The baby was screaming and was lying face down in the sand.
Allen also called 911, and said that her boyfriend was beating her. She
never mentioned his son, who was crying in the background.
The child was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
