A teenage boy was arrested after he and his three friends allegedly
raped a little girl before putting her into a washing machine and dryer,
according to police in Indiana.
DeKalb County police said that the mother left the 3-year-old girl and a
5-year-old girl in the care of a 14-year-old boy in order to visit
family members.
The boy then called his friends to join him at the home, where the drank
alcoholic beverages and used drugs. At some point, the teens placed the
3-year-old girl in a washing machine filled with water and then in a
dryer.
As a result, the girl suffered bruises all over her body.
The mother of the girl, Missy Camp, admitted that she left Raelyn, 3,
and her 5-year-old daughter in the care of a family friend.
Camp said that the boy had babysat her daughters several times before
without incident. This time, she found bruises all over Raelyn’s body.
Her apartment was trashed. Two of her toilets, her TV and a window was broken. She also found drugs such as Xanax on the floor.
The mother said that her 5-year-old daughter told her what happened. She
told her mother that the babysitter invited three of his friends over,
and the fours boys got drunk.
The boys then returned the washer on until it was filled with water, and
then put Raelyn inside. They then put her in the dryer and turned it
on.
The babysitter told Camp that he took Raelyn to the park, where she fell
off a merry-go-round. Camp said that a doctor told her that Raelyn had
signs of sexual abuse.
