A man in California, used 1,500 bottles of Coca-Cola to fill up a large
swimming pool before his friend jumped into it, according to video
uploaded that was to the Internet.
Taras Maksimuk, who is also known as TechRax, filled up the pool with the soda before adding Mentos and ice.
Maksimuk lives in Rocklin, where he records weird videos and uploaded them to his YouTube channel.
Maksimuk said that he added some Mentos to create bubbles and 200 pounds
of ice to cool it off as the liquid was exposed to the sun for several
hours.
He then convinced his friend Ryan, to jump into the pool.
Maksimuk then flew a DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter into the pool.
As could be expected, the drone malfunctioned and stopped working due to
becoming a sticky mess. Ryan said that besides feeling sticky, swimming
in Coca-Cola was really awesome.
Ryan stayed in the pool for about 20 minutes, and did not notice any
significant changes to his skin or hair. He said that he was surprised
his skin felt really smooth.
The swimming pool was then emptied on the grass and then washed
thoroughly with water. However, after a week, it still smells horrible
in the backyard.
