A pregnant Wendy’s worker was hospitalized after being assaulted at work.
19-year-old Victoria Repine was working her shift at Wendy’s in Independence, Missouri, when she was attacked.
Her mother, Heather Salcedo, said that two women confronted her daughter for forgetting the straws with their order.
The women pulled Repine out of the drive-thru window and beat her up.
Their male friend then came out the vehicle and also punched her,
Salcedo said.
The incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Repine, who has a
one-year-old daughter and is three months pregnant, was taken to a
hospital.
She suffered severe head trauma, two black eyes and a gash on her face.
Doctors confirmed that her unborn baby survived the attack after they
heard the heartbeat.
Wendy’s handed over the video of the incident to police, who are now
looking for the two women and the man who were involved in the incident.
