A bride in Pennsylvania, who was still dressed in her wedding gown,
managed to revive an unconscious woman who was lying on a street bench. Julie Stroyne, who is a trauma nurse at the UPMC-Presbyterian hospital,
married Andrew Nixon at The Pennsylvanian located at 1100 Liberty
Avenue.
Minutes after the reception, a 20-year-old woman was found unconscious
on the street bench. Stroyne, who was still dressed in her wedding gown,
quickly jumped into action.
She performed CPR and revived the woman, who was whisked into an
ambulance and transported to a hospital. The condition of the woman is
not known.
Family and friends at the wedding all agreed that the bride saved the day.
