A young woman in the United Kingdom, was shocked to see a bird stealing
her new iPhone, which she placed on the ground to record an exercise
routine.23-year-old Chloe Rainey of Devon, who writes a blog, decided to record
her daily exercise routine at the beach on Thursday morning, when the
bird flew away with her smartphone.
Fortunately for Rainey, the phone recorded the heist and the bird
dropped it after flying a few feet. The woman uploaded the video to
Facebook, where it went viral.
The video shows the bird circling the possessions of Rainey.
Oddly, the bird did not touch the food and grabbed the iPhone with its
beak. The seagull’s feet can be heard pounding on the sand before it
dropped the phone back to the ground.
The beach was deserted and no one was around. Rainey said that when she
saw the bird flying away with her phone, she started screaming and
chased after the bird.
