It seems to be a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time for a young boy who tragically lost his life.
4-year-old Mahsaan Kelley-Wilson of Missouri, died after being hit by a
bullet while riding in the back seat of a car with his parents.
Kelley-Wilson was rushed to the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, after his parents saw that he was hit by a bullet.
The shooting occurred at about 1:50 a.m., when the child’s parents drove
into gunfire on Eighth Street and The Paseo to Admiral Boulevard.
The parents said that they drove between two cars without realizing that
people in the two vehicles were shooting at each other.
The family was caught in the crossfire of the shootout and their car was
hit. Kelley-Wilson’s parents were not injured, but he could not be
saved.
