An alleged transformer vandal in Lagos lost his life when he was electrocuted early on Monday, September 15, 2014.

PM News reports that the unidentified suspect was stealing some feeder pillar units from an electric transformer at Lonlo Bus Stop, along Iju Road in the Fagba area of the state.

He was reportedly able to remove one unit from the Mitchell 500KVA transformer but while still in the act, electricity was restored and he was shocked to death.

One witness, Mr. Egunjobi Samuel, reportedly said:

โ€œWe have been experiencing this thing for a long time. Some people will just come and remove some parts from this transformer.  God  decided to expose one of them today. It serves him right,

The victimโ€™s corpse was supposedly discovered by a 13-year old boy, Segun Adedokun who then informed other residents.
