Baby numero dos! Colombian singing sensation Shakira is pregnant with her second child, she confirmed to the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan. The Voice coach is expecting baby No. 2 with her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Pique, whom she met while promoting the 2010 World Cup anthem โWaka Waka (This Time For Africa).โ
The couple welcomed their first son Milan, 18 months, in January 2013.
โIf it wasnโt for the World Cup, my son Milan would not be here,โ the international pop star recently told the AP before performing her new 2014 World Cup single โLa La La (Brazil 2014)โ at the final game on Sunday, July 13. See the cutest pics of Shakira and Milan at the World Cup.
Both Pique and baby Milan appeared in her soccer-centric music video for the new single. The songโs release comes just after the noted humanitarianโs self-titled tenth studio album was released in March, debuting at no. 2 on the Billboard charts.
Shakira has been very open about her desire to have a big family, telling Latina magazine in April, โIf it werenโt because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard โ my own futbol team.โ
