British Singer, Vicky Beeching , a popular face in the American gospel circle has come out publicly as gay for the first time.
Beeching announced for the first time in an interview with the Independent UK, saying that she hopes others like her would declare their sexual status publicly.
In the interview, the 35-year-old gospel singer said she started getting attracted to women by age 12 and knew she was gay by the time she clocked 13.
She said : โWhat Jesus taught was a radical message of welcome and inclusion and love. I feel certain God loves me just the way I am, and I have a huge sense of calling to communicate that to young people.โ
Beeching broke the news on Twitter too by sharing the link to her interview together with a tweet which read: โItโs taken all my courage, and all these years, for me to finally do this interview.โ
Vicky Beeching sang some hit gospel songs such as Turn your eyes and Wonder of The Cross.
