Former Minister of the FCT, Nasir el-Rufai says President Goodluck Jonathan should be blamed for the attempt on Gden. Buhari’s life.
Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, has taken his hatred for President Goodluck Jonathan to another heights, by insinuating that the President was behind the alleged assassination attempt on All Progressive Congress, APC, chieftain, General Muhammadu Buhari, a few days ago when the ex-military head of state escaped a bomb attack in Kaduna State.
El-Rufai who seizes every opportunity to attack the President and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, took to social media to suggest that though the attack on Gen. Buhari seemed to be from the Boko Haram suicide bombers, they were actually carried out by trained snipers charged to assassinate the opposition leader.
He based his premise on the fact the retired General and the President had an altercation a two days earlier before the attack, therefore accusing President Jonathan of being the brain behind the assassination attempt.
