Producer of the highly anticipated historical movie, “Invasion 1897” which is bound to raise the bar in Nollywood when it finally hits the cinemas later this year, Lancelot Imasuen has gone spiritual.

The celebrated director was recently involved in the production of a gospel documentary drama, “Faith that Rocks”which experience, he described as “awesome and refreshingly different.”
The production, sponsored by The Refuge, an Abuja branch of Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s House on the Rock church was a total departure from the norm.

“It was the first time in my career that I’m delving into gospel induced production. It was a great experience because it took me into a new environment.
From the first time I started the production, I had this feeling of fulfillment that I was in the right direction. I am not particularly new when it comes to gospel productions, but this documentary posed a new challenge to me,”Lancelot narrated.
He described the production as a blend of reality; telling the story of resilience, steadfastness and faith in God. Stressing further, the celebrated film director said, the documentary was produced in commemoration of the dedication of the new utra-modern church building as well as marking the 15 years existence of the church in Abuja.
Established in 1999, the church is under the inspirational leadership of Pastor GoodHeart Obi C. Ekwueme, the eldest son of former Vice-President of the federation, Dr. Alex Ekwueme.
