Beyonce’s dad, Mattew Knowles says divorce rumours was just a way for his daughter and husband, Jay Z to promote their ‘On The Run’ tour.
In a recent chat on the Roula & Ryan show this week he was asked about the divorce rumours and the elevator incident, he said:
“I know, because we’ve done this. From experience, thereโs a tour going on,So you sometimes have to ignite that tour. Itโs called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot.”
When asked if Solange’s elevator attack was staged and leaked by them,he said
All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyoneโs talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solangeโs album sales went up 200%!โ
Despite not handling Beyonce’s career anymore, he said this about his super star daughter:
“We still talk every Sunday. Sheโs still the humble, generous person that sheโs always been.Folks don’t know it, but I am still the manager of Destiny’s Child,โ he said. โWhen you see Destiny’s Child on TV and you see them doing songs together slowly, slowly โ now theyโve done two, they were recently on TV โ I donโt know, it might be another Destiny’s Child album coming.There might be this tour that makes history, Destinyโs Child featuring Beyoncรฉ, Kelly and Michelle. Can you imagine what that would be like?”
Neither Beyonce nor Jay Z have dropped any comment yet but we are guseeing they won’t be happy about this.
