Parents were angry to learn that their children were violated at a daycare.
A high school student was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual
assault after allegedly molesting two children at the daycare center
that was run by his mother.
17-year-old Alan Zachary Holifield of Texas, has committed to play college baseball at Oklahoma State, on a scholarship.
However, his career may be in jeopardy as a result of his arrest. He remains locked up in the Collin County jail.
The teenager was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of
a child and one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Police said that Holifield lives in the house, where his mother runs the daycare and it is where the alleged abuse occurred.
One of the victims, who told his parents about the abuse, was only five years old.
Holifield, who is said to be a star pitcher, is being held on $600,000 bail.
