People in Spain, are shocked to learn that two employees managed to get paid for 15 years despite not working for one day.
Officials in Jerez de la Frontera, said that they have fired the two
employees who failed to show up at work for at least 15 years.
The two employees defended their actions, saying that they were simply using other workers’ paid vacation days.
Their actions came to light after the Human Resources department
reviewed the work for the past two years, and noticed that the driver
and gardener haven’t done any work.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the two employees have not worked for the past 15 years.
The men even admitted the allegations, saying that they felt no need to
show up for work because they were using the paid leave of absence days
of employees who have not used them.
The two were immediately fired.
