Over 250 children marched to J.J. Hill Montessori School in St. Paul, Minn., on Saturday, to
decry police brutality across the nation and slam the police killing of
Philando Castile, the school employee who memorized their names.

“No
justice, no peace,” “Stop the killing,” and “Don’t shoot, I’m 5,” were
among their handcrafted signs hoisted above their heads during the
so-called “Children’s March.”
The group marched
nearly a mile to the school where Castile, 32, was a beloved fixture
serving lunches in the cafeteria. He had worked for the St. Paul School
District for the past 14 years.
“They’re affected by it and they see it just like we do,” Protest organizer, Milton told WCCO-TV.
“But they are not absorbing it the way that we do.”
