A family was shocked to learn that their loved one was brutally murdered on her first date.
Kristina Medvedeva of Russia, was looking for love on the Internet, before she was beheaded on his first date with a man she met on online.
Medvedeva, who worked as a shop assistant in Ekaterinburg, described her relationship status as “actively searching” on social media.
The 22-year-old woman reportedly met the man on a dating website. She was looking forward to going out with the man, but when she did not return home, her friends and family became concerned.
Police found the woman’s mutilated body near on the shore of a lake close to the residential area of Michurinsky.
Police said that Medvedeva’s head was almost completely cut off. The gruesome discovery was made three days after she went missing.
Police said that there was no evidence of rape.
Medvedeva recently moved to the area and shared an apartment with a friend in order to make a better life for herself and for a better chance to find love.
Sadly, things did not work out well as she met the wrong person who killed her.
Police have launched a manhunt to find the killer.
