A grandmother of the United Kingdom, showed young thugs who is stronger when they tried to rob her.
77-year-old Winifred Peel was standing at an ATM to withdraw money.
While doing so, three teenagers came close to her in order to snatch her money.
As Peel was about to get her £200 ($260), she realized that the teens surrounded her and that she was about to get robbed.
Peel grabbed one of the teens by the collar and banged his head against the cash machine 3 times to try and stop him.
His cowardly friends fled from the scene. The woman called police. After reviewing surveillance videos, police apprehended the teens.
The criminals were identified as Felix Stoica, 19, Piper Dumitru, 18, and Florin Geblescu, 18.
They admitted to police that they drove from Manchester to Bromborough, where they were looking for easy targets, according to the Liverpool Crown Court.
However, this grandmother was no match for the teens.
All three teens were jailed. Stoica was sentenced two years in prison, Geblescu was sentenced to 18 months in prison and Dumitru was ordered to serve eight months in prison.
