A police officer of Tennessee, was placed on desk duty after slapping a suspect who was under arrest.
The Metro Nashville police officer became angry after she felt a pinch while searching 22-year-old Rachel Hallโs breasts for guns and drugs.
Elizabeth Berry-Loucks of Nashville, was struck by a syringe that did not have a cover and was hidden in Hall’s bra.
Berry-Loucks, who is a 3-year veteran of the department, sought medical treatment after being pricked by the needle.
After being slapped, Hall was taken to jail, where she was booked on charges of possession of heroin for resale, felony theft, possession of pills without a prescription, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and violation of Tennesseeโs Crooks with Guns law, police said.
Officers later went to Hallโs apartment, where they found 9.5 grams of heroin, 2.9 grams of cocaine, 112 miscellaneous pills in baggies, and three pistols, two of which were stolen.
Bail for Hall was set at $25,000.
