A grandmother tried to steal items for herself and her grandchildren from a supermarket, but was caught before leaving, according to police in Mexico.
Security guards at the store stopped the grandmother after seeing her placing items under her skirt and into her underwear.
They waited until police arrived at the scene, and they ordered her to give back the items she stole. The woman, who was not identified, began pulling out items from under her skirt, including boxes of chewing gum and beer.
The security guards kept ordering her to pull out more items, and the woman complied.
When she said that she does not have any more items in her underwear, a police officer frisked her and confirmed that she wasn’t hiding any additional groceries.
Police also frisked a woman who accompanied the thief, but she wasn’t hiding any items in her underwear. The incident was recorded on video and was uploaded to the Internet.
