One person is dead and four more are injured after a lifeboat fell from the world’s biggest cruise ship.
The 227,000-tonne Harmony of the Seas liner was docked in the French port of Marseille when the incident took place, emergency services said.
‘One person is dead and four are injured, including two whose lives are in danger,’ said a spokesperson for the service.
The five were reportedly in the lifeboat when it ‘became detached’ from the ship and fell.
The Harmony of the Seas, which has a capacity of about 6,700 passengers and 2,300 crew, had its maiden voyage on May 29.
It was built by STX France, and is 50m longer than the Eiffel Tower.
