Two 14-year-old kids were arrested on a charge of murder after being accused of killing a mother and her teenage daughter, according to police in the United Kingdom.
Now, the boy and his girlfriend of Spalding, are facing many years in prison after being found guilty of murder in connection with the stabbing death of 49-year-old Elizabeth Edwards and her daughter, 13-year-old Katie.
According to the police investigation, the couple plotted to kill the mother and daughter while eating food at McDonaldโs. The court was told that the kids stabbed the mother and her daughter in their throats.
Elizabeth was found with eight stab wounds, while Katie died of blood loss and asphyxiation. Katie was found with a stab wound to the throat and a pillow over her head.
Both were killed while they were sleeping in their beds.
To celebrate the murders, the 14-year-old boy and his girlfriend watched vampire movies for several hours before police arrested them.
