Max Verstappen claimed victory at the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday, securing his third consecutive win and setting up a dramatic Formula One title showdown with McLaren duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in Abu Dhabi next weekend.

Verstappen’s triumph for Red Bull cut Norris’s championship lead to just 12 points. The Briton finished fourth, behind the Williams of Carlos Sainz, while Australian Piastri took second after starting on pole and winning Saturday’s sprint. Piastri now sits third in the standings, four points behind Verstappen.

The season finale promises a thrilling climax, with Verstappen, Norris, and Piastri all level on seven wins apiece, underscoring one of the closest title battles in recent years.
