The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of N2.103 trillion in revenue accrued for September 2025 to the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils. The disbursement was finalized during the FAAC meeting held in Abuja in October 2025.
According to a communiquรฉ issued after the meeting, the total distributable revenue comprised:
- Statutory Revenue: N1.239 trillion
- Value Added Tax (VAT): N812.593 billion
- Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL): N51.684 billion
The gross revenue available for the month stood at N3.054 trillion, from which N116.149 billion was deducted for collection costs, and N835.005 billion was allocated to transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings.

- Federal Government: N711.314 billion
- State Governments: N727.170 billion
- Local Government Councils: N529.954 billion
- Derivation Revenue (13% of mineral revenue): N134.956 billion to oil-producing states

Revenue Trends
The communiquรฉ noted a decline in gross statutory revenue, which fell to N2.128 trillion in September from N2.838 trillion in Augustโa drop of N710.134 billion. Conversely, VAT collections rose to N872.630 billion, up by N150.011 billion from the previous month.
Revenue from Import Duty, VAT, and EMTL saw significant increases, while Companies Income Tax (CIT) and Common External Tariff (CET) levies declined. Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT) recorded a marginal increase, whereas Oil and Gas Royalties and Excise Duties saw slight decreases.
