Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has praised Rwandan President Paul Kagame following his re-election, calling it a clear sign of trust and confidence from the Rwandan people.
In a congratulatory message released by his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, Obasanjo celebrated Kagame’s victory in the presidential election held on July 15, 2024.
Obasanjo noted that Kagame’s re-election is a testament to the trust and confidence the Rwandan people have in his leadership and vision. He expressed his belief that Kagame’s continued leadership will further enhance Rwanda’s peace, security, and prosperity.
He also wished Kagame continued good health to enable him to build on the achievements of his presidency and offered his highest consideration in the message.
