The Federal Government of Nigeria has successfully repatriated 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as announced by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

The returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 5:57 AM and were received by a team of government officials led by NEMA.

In a statement signed by Bashir Garga, Director, North Central Zone of NEMA, it was noted that the returnees have undergone profiling and documentation by relevant agencies. They have also been sensitized to conduct themselves with decorum and responsibility upon their return to Nigeria.

The federal government emphasized the importance of Nigerians acting as exemplary ambassadors of their country, promoting patriotism, upholding the rule of law, decency, and integrity.

This repatriation effort follows a similar operation last October when the Federal Government brought back a total of 542 Nigerians from the UAE.
