Manchester City legend David Silva has officially announced his retirement from football after recently suffering a serious knee injury.

The 37-year-old was on the books at LaLiga side Real Sociedad but has decided to call time on his career ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Silva won four Premier League titles with City and represented the Spain national team on 125 occasions.
