Soludo commends INEC for early commencement of election

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the early commencement of the voting process in the state.

Governor Soludo gave the commendation shortly after voting at Polling Unit 002 Ofuiyi Square, Umueze, Isuofia, Aguata local government Area.

According to the governor, he sampled views across the state and the exercise seems to be going on fairly well in terms of deployment of logistics and early commencement of election, adding that it is a great improvement compared to the previous election, in terms of the arrival and deployment of materials.

The governor also expressed optimism that the will of the people will prevail, and noting the low turn out of voters compared to the February 25th election, he encourages the people of Anambra state to step out and exercise their civic obligations by casting their votes.
