Ukrainian power grid operator Ukrenergo on Friday lifted the state of emergency it declared earlier in the day after Russian missile strikes cut nationwide energy consumption by more than 50%, it said in a statement.
A senior Ukrainian official said earlier that emergency power shutdowns were being brought in across the country after Russian missiles hit energy facilities in several regions.
