Stating that he started to work in this parliament building, Taçoy said that by observing the impossibilities created and unanswered within days, the environments in which the personnel could not work comfortably, continuous efforts were made to move from the parliament buildings to other places.
Stating that the biggest complaint of the deputies is that they do not have the opportunity to work in their rooms, Taçoy said that 13 years ago, under the presidency of Hasan Bozer, the construction of the parliament building was done.
He stated that they watched the presentation of plans and projects at GAU .
Noting that Sibel Siber, as the speaker of the parliament, is preparing projects for the relocation of the parliament, she said that these studies have been going on for a long time.
Taçoy mentioned that everything should be considered in order for the building to be a permanent one, and expressed his belief that this place would be more suitable for democracy.
Taçoy said, “The TRNC Assembly, the place we would like to see, will be a movement that we will put forward as an indicator to the world.”
Taçoy stated that the call made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the ‘recognition of the TRNC’ is an opinion accepted and approved by many people.
Taçoy said, “Our desire and desire is to enrich the existence of the TRNC with its relations with the TRNC” and mentioned that this should be embraced by the parliament along with the call made to the world.
