According to the written statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Undersecretary of the Ministry Emirali Deveci, Director of the Department of Agriculture Reşat Değirmenci, and Director of the Ministry Mehmet Ercilasun were present at the meeting.
Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Oğuz pointed out that tomato prices have increased in recent days at the meeting he held with tomato producers and stated that their priority is to protect domestic production and domestic producers.
Oğuz pointed out that while protecting domestic production and producers, they also had to think about the consumer whose purchasing power is decreasing day by day.
