Fuel automation will prevent informality – Olgun Amcaoğlu

Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu stated that he had said from the first day that Kıb-Tek should be given to the relevant ministry regarding the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority’s subordination to the Prime Ministry. “The drum is in one place, the hammer is in another,” said Amcaoğlu.

Noting that he had no problems with Prime minister Ünal Üstel, Amcaoğlu mentioned that sometimes their perspectives can be different.

“FUEL AUTOMATION WILL END AT THE END OF OCTOBER”

Pointing out that there is a constantly changing trend in fuel, Amcaoğlu said that the fuel automation will end at the end of October in order not to break the supply chain and to reach the public.

Amcaoğlu said that he finished the installation and software so that it can be controlled by both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Energy every 30 seconds. Amcaoğlu mentioned that their aim is to prevent informality.

“WE ARE NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE COUNTRY”

Amcaoğlu said, “Looking at the examples in the world, it is claimed that the fuel in this country is sold at very expensive rates.

We are not the most expensive country, but I will research this again and share it with documents,” said Amcaoğlu, adding that they will make a discount of 1 TL for 95/98, 1 TL for Euro diesel. .

Stating that fuel oil is a product offered for sale within the scope of controlled goods.

Amcaoğlu said that Euro Diesel is sold cheaper only in Russia, Moldova and Malta when looking at the world.
