A British soldier died on Monday morning in a traffic accident in the Dhekelia base area.
The SBA said that “just after 2am today [Monday] a British soldier lost his life in a traffic accident that took place on Larnaca-Famagusta Road close to the SBA police station.”
No other people were involved in the accident. His relatives have also been informed, it added.
SBA are currently looking into the circumstances of his death.
