Businessperson Esin Esmen stated that Turkey and the TRNC use the Turkish Lira currency, and asked why the currency-protected deposit account system in Turkey was not implemented in the TRNC. Esmen noted that the authorized institutions and organizations should take a step as soon as possible to switch to the deposit system.
Businessperson Esin Esmen made evaluations on the business world, economic predictions and social issues in the social program โQuestions I Have In My Mindโ on BRT.
While describing his background, Esin Esmen explained that he started his business life as a manager in private companies and instead of entering the state and looking for comfort, he always set new pursuits and goals, and shared the breaking point of his business life as follows:
โI started with a small perfumery, 14 years ago we decided to grow the business. We founded the company, but I was very afraid of what I would become. We received consultancy from a business professor from Turkey. He talked to all the company employees one by one except me, he called me last and said “Your path is correct, if you continue like this, success will come by itself.” At that moment, a great enthusiasm came to me. After that day, we continued on our way with more confident stepsโ.
Stating that the state should overcome the bureaucracy problem, Esin Esmen noted that he also wondered why practical steps were not taken in terms of state administration and economic wisdom.
Stating that the country lost a lot of time due to internal political debates, Esin Esmen emphasized that the country can develop in a short time if the economic mind is made dominant in all parts of the state as soon as possible.
Stating that the performance of economic organizations is not sufficient for the business world from time to time, Esin Esmen said, โTurkey and the TRNC use TL, why is the currency protected TL deposit account system not implemented in the TRNC as well? Why don’t the Central Bank, politics and organizations take any steps in this regard? It is necessary to switch to the currency-protected system as soon as possible.โ
