In Serhatköy, 1 person who had drugs in his possession as part of the ‘Street Operation’ was identified and arrested.
According to the information given by the Police Press Officer, during the search carried out in the vehicle used by 46-year-old M.N.Ç, within the scope of the ‘Street Operation’, which was organized by the teams of the Güzelyurt Police Department and the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate, in Serhatköy yesterday at 10:00.
It was stated that the substance believed to be about 70 grams of drugs in his possession, a sensitive scale believed to have drug residues on it, and 35 thousand 950 TL, 60 pounds and 300 US dollars in cash believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs, were found and taken as evidence.
The police announced that the person in question had been arrested and the investigation was continuing.
