Central Tender Commission (MIK) Chairman Halil Üresin met with EL-SEN Chairman and Secretary General
According to the statement made by EL-SEN; at the meeting, the process regarding the cancellation of the tender for the supply of fuel to Kıb-Tek and the decision to conclude a new tender by bargaining method within 10 working days were discussed.
In EL-SEN’s statement, it was stated that they listened to a satisfactory and convincing explanation from MİK Chairman Halil Üresin regarding the Commission’s reason for canceling the tender.
Central Tender Commission Chairman Halil Üresin, has documented the process of the fuel tender and the results of the evaluation.
It seems that none of the proposals made meet the requirements of the law.
In this case, the decision of the MIK regarding the conclusion of a new tender within 10 working days with the bargaining procedure was an appropriate decision.
In the statement, which stated that EL-SEN will continue to follow the tender process closely, the conditions in the open procedure tender should not be changed while the tender is concluded with the bargaining method.
Our hope is that a fair and transparent tender process will be carried out by adhering to the law, and as a result, the cheapest possible transportation fee will emerge.
