Obasanjo, Osinbajo, Abiodun meet in Abeokuta

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday morning flew into Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital and met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his penthouse in Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) within Abeokuta.

Governor Dapo Abiodun also joined in the meeting – which is still ongoing after he welcomed Osinbajo when his chopper touched ground within the OOPL premises.
It was learnt that Osinbajo’s visit is meant to pave for him to declare open a programme tagged: ‘West Africa: Rising to the challenge of Consolidating Democratic Governance,’ a programme being put together by the Coalition for Dialogue on Africa (CoDA).
