Ifeoma Anyanwutaku Inaugurates ECMS Team


The Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Information and Culture Dr.  Ifeoma Adaora Ayanwutaku, has inaugurated a 7-man committee on the implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System Team for the Ministry. The event held on Monday 21th March 2022, at the Permanent Secretary’s Conference room.

Anyanwutaku stated that ECMS was part of the reform activities expected in the implementation of the 2017- 2022 Federal civil service strategy and implementation plan (FCSSIP), adding that the importance of deploying the ECMS cannot be over emphasized, as it is aimed at revolutionising and repositioning service delivery in the public sector which would help improve efficiency, block financial leakages, improve transparency as well as reduce corruption to the barest minimum.

She further explained that ECMS was a deployment of appropriate technologies to digitalise/ automate files records and documents especially in the Registries in other to bring about improved productivity and efficiency within the ministry. She said that the software deployed would help build an improved and secured system, where data capturing, storage and retrievals will be easy and seamless, thereby leading to an enhanced, automated working environment.

Director PRS Mr. D.Z. Seddon, who spoke on behalf of the Team assured the Permanent secretary of putting in their best to justify the confidence and position assigned to them.

Memebers of the ECMS project team are, Director IT Mrs. Comfort Ajiboye Team lead, Director PRS Mr. D.Z. Seddon, Director HRM Mrs. Mariam Nkechi Nwokocha, Mr. Nichola Idam PEO (IPPIS), Mr. Anyanwu Samuel SIO (IT), Ms. Okon Ebony SIO (IT) and Mr. Edeh Miracle Admin Officer 1 (IPPIS) Secretary.
