Report Acts of Corruption, EFCC Charges Youths in Benin

The Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC on November 3, 2021 charged students of tertiary institutions to be good ambassadors by blowing the whistle against corruption whenever they see any acts that fail the simple test of integrity.

The Ag Zonal Commander, Ude Nkechi Rita stated this while welcoming students of Benson Idahosa University, Edo State on a visit to the Command.
She said the Commission since inception in April 13,2003, has recorded tremendous achievements with impressive number of convictions on money laundering , advance fee fraud and other economic and financial crimes; adding that despite these milestones the commission realizes that enduring success in the fight against corruption can only be achieve when all stakeholders embrace this important fight .
“Since the inauguration of the Commission in 2003, we have recorded tremendous achievements in money laundering, Advance Fee Fraud, and other economic and financial crimes. Despite these achievements, the Commission realizes that enduring success in this fight can only be achieve when all hands are on deck”
According to her, the youths are dynamic young men and women whose intelligence and energy can be harnessed for public good and charge them to always blow the whistle against acts that fail the simple test of integrity.
Earlier Dr. Mary Obase who led the students on the courtesy visit, said they were in the Commission to know more about the EFCC and its operations.
