The Zonal Head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Gombe, CDS Ibrahim Shazali, has urged Nigerian youth to shun all forms of corruption.
Shazali, stated this while unveiling anti-corruption billboards in strategic location in Gombe as legacy project by members of the EFCC/NYSC Integrity Club, to enlightened the general public on the ills of corruption.
While applauding the initiative, he described youths as the greatest assets of every society as they are a good measures of the extent to which a country can produce or sustain itself.
Shazali advised members of the group and all youths to shun corruption and embrace skill acquisition in order to be self-reliant, instead of waiting endlessly for white collar jobs.
“We enjoin everybody to join the fight against corruption; it is our collective responsibility to get this task done for the development and progress of our dear nation, “he said.
The billboards are located at Gombe State Transport Service Terminus, Gombe Main Roundabout and Main Market Roundabout.
