Don’t let up with your campaign for peace and unity, Omo-Agege tells el-Rufai at 61

Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has, once again, reiterated the reform-mindedness and consistency in the political engagements of  Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State.

Omo-Agege, who made these disclosures in a felicitation letter he signed yesterday on the governor’s 61st birthday, explained that the nation needs forthright leaders that would always stand by the truth if the country must move forward and foster unity among the different ethnic nationalities.

While praying that the Almighty God would grant him more years of dedicated service to the state and the nation, the Senator urged him to continue with his impactful interventions especially in times like this when these qualities are needed in addressing the many problems besetting the nation.

“Today, I join members of your family, citizens of Kaduna state and other Nigerians in celebrating you on your 61st birthday.

“I enjoin you to keep up the good work you have been doing in Kaduna State, the All Progressives Congress and our national discourse. Voices such as yours are needed to mediate in order to muffle the voices of those beating the drums of war. Personally, I share in your call for peace and justice for all. That is the only way we can attain the dream of an egalitarian United and peaceful Nigeria.

“I pray that Almighty Allah continue to sustain you in your  resolute determination to make enduring positive impacts in the lives of your constituents and Nigerians at large.

“May good health, long life and fulfilment be yours in the years ahead,” Omo-Agege said.
