CSR: EFCC Visit, Donates Gifts to Charity Homes in Enugu

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Enugu Zonal office led by the Head, Oshodi Johnson and his deputy, Aliu Naibi visited two charity homes; Guardian Angels Motherless Babies Home, Emene and Mother Louisa Rehabilitation/Therapeutical Home, Udi Siding,  both in Enugu.

In his remark during the visit, the zonal head said the visit was necessitated by the festive mood and the need to remember that there are some people who are not as privileged as others.

“In this period of celebrating not just Christmas but the grace of God throughout the year, we feel that it is important to come and celebrate with the less privileged, put a smile on their faces and give whatever token we have for their upkeep,” he stressed.

To the caregivers, Oshodi respectively told them: “Your service to humanity is not unnoticed and we pray for more grace to do this work which reward is beyond anything any man could give. On our part, we hope to do much more next year”.

He thanked the zonal staff who rather than have their end of the year party with fanfare, decided to use the free will donations to buy various types of food and household items to be distributed to the two charity homes.

Receiving the delegation, Rev. Sister Martin Agnes Ibewuike and Ekwe Louisa respectively expressed appreciation for the visits, saying it was an indication that there is hope for the hopeless and that though the inmates of the two organisations might not have spoken their minds in words, they are thankful in their hearts for the good
