Governor El-Rufai develops new service initiative

Kaduna State  Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i has developed a public service on wheels programme.

He advised residents to patronise government agencies visiting households and neighbourhoods under the Public Service on Wheels initiative.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, on Tuesday said the initiative was in line with government’s agenda of Putting People First.
Adekeye said, “Public Service on Wheels is a Kaduna State government programme  aimed at bringing  services to the doorsteps of people and businesses”.
“It is designed to help households to interface with officials from agencies that can assist them with residency registration, building plan approval, regularising their land and property titles, obtaining tax identification numbers and updating their business premises registration.
Adekeye noted that, “Public Service on Wheels was designed to respond to the situation created by COVID-19 by going to the people in their homes and neigbourhoods.
The special adviser also said, “all issues relating to Environmental  Impact Assessment (EIA) for ongoing and completed projects can be sorted out with ease through the Public Service on Wheels initiative”.
