‘Buhari’s achievements will win Edo, Ondo polls for us’ – APC

A member of the National Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Stella Okotete, has said the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari for the past five years would play a big role in winning elections in Edo and Ondo states.

In a statement she signed yesterday, Okotete said Nigerians have felt the impact of the transformation agenda of the President and are willing to vote for APC in both states.

She said the party’s candidate in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is a grassroots man loved by his people.

Okotete added: “I have confidence that he will be elected.

“In Ondo State, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has performed well. We are sure that he will be re-elected.

“As a party, we are proud of what we have brought into governance. We are happy that even ordinary Nigerians on the streets are happy that the change has affected them positively.”

“I urge our party members, especially progressive women in both states, to campaign for the candidates in all wards and local governments. In September and October, we will be victorious and our people will continue to enjoy human capital, socioeconomic and infrastructural development.”
