Niger State records third COVID-19 confirmed case

Niger state has recorded its third confirmed COVID-19 case from a driver who was driving past Minna to Kano.This was disclosed by hospital services Dr Muhammad Makusidi on Friday.

According to Makusidi, the driver was apprehended for flouting the restriction of movement order and was quarantined.

The Commissioner said that his sample was taken to Abuja for test and it returned positive adding that the patient would be moved immediately to the isolation center at the Minna General Hospital for treatment.

The Commissioner noted that the patient has had no contact in the state as he was only passing-by to his destination in Kano State.
