House of Reps to review legislative agenda

The House of Representatives is set to review its legislative agenda less than six months after the document was launched.

Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila told his colleagues at Tuesday plenary that the current events across the globe have necessitated a review of the legislative agenda.

He said when the current agenda was prepared and made public, nobody envisaged the development across the world, adding that the global lockdown will definitely have adverse effects on it’s activities, which informed the review.

Hon Julius Ihonvbare, who chaired the committee that drafted the earlier agenda, is to head the nine- member committee to review the agenda.
